Bybit has officially announced the sunsetting of several of its Web3 services, including the "Cloud Wallet", "Keyless Wallet", and their ApeX Protocol entry point. This change, effective May 31, 2025, will directly impact users who access ApeX through the Bybit Web3 Wallet.

This is a critical notice for all users who registered on ApeX using Bybit Web3 Wallet solutions. Immediate action is required to ensure uninterrupted access to your ApeX account and to protect your funds.

What's Happening?

Bybit has decided to discontinue multiple Web3 products, including:

• Cloud Wallet

• Keyless Wallet

• ApeX Web3 entry point via Bybit Wallet

These services will be shut down by May 31, 2025, and wallets associated with them will no longer function or be accessible.

How This Affects You

If you use Bybit's Web3 Wallet to access ApeX Protocol, please read carefully:

1. You will lose access to your ApeX account If your ApeX account was created with a Bybit “Cloud Wallet” or “Keyless Wallet,” you will not be able to log in after May 31, 2025.

2. You will lose access to your affiliate dashboard Affiliates who registered using these wallets will no longer be able to access or withdraw commissions from their affiliate accounts on ApeX.

3. You must migrate your funds and close open positions If you have active positions or funds on ApeX linked to a Bybit Web3 Wallet, you must shut them down and transfer your assets to a self-custodial wallet before the cutoff date.

We want to emphasize that ApeX Protocol is fully operational and will continue to serve all users.

The sunset of the Bybit Web3 Wallet is a Bybit decision only and does not affect ApeX's infrastructure, products, or long-term roadmap.

✅ What You Need to Do

To ensure smooth continuation on ApeX:

1. Connect a new self-custodial wallet (such as MetaMask, Rabby, WalletConnect, etc.) to ApeX.

2. Migrate all your funds from your Bybit Web3 Wallet account before May 31, 2025.

3. Shut down any open positions on Perps or Vaults using the affected wallet.

4. Re-register your affiliate account under the new wallet to continue earning commissions.
