Summary

ApeX is delisting all Prediction Contract trading pairs on June 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM (UTC) as part of ongoing product upgrades. Traders holding open positions should close them manually before that deadline, because any positions left open will be automatically force-closed and settled by the system. Auto-settlement uses the average Mark Price from the final 30 minutes before delisting, with a settlement fee calculated as the average of the Taker and Maker fees. Access to Prediction Contracts pages winds down in two stages: limited access continues briefly after June 1, then all entry points across Web and App close permanently on June 2, 2026, at 8:00 AM (UTC). This blog walks through the full timeline, the settlement mechanics, and the exact steps for closing a position before the cutoff.

Why ApeX Is Adjusting the Prediction Contracts Product

ApeX is making changes to the Prediction Contracts product to improve the overall user experience and support continued platform upgrades. The decision means all Prediction Contract trading pairs will be delisted, and the timeline below lays out exactly when each change takes effect. If you hold any positions in these pairs, the most important takeaway is simple: act before the deadline.

The Delisting Takes Effect June 1 at 8:00 AM UTC

All Prediction Contract trading pairs will be delisted on June 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM (UTC). Users holding positions are strongly advised to close them manually before this time. Leaving a position open past the cutoff hands control to the system, which will automatically force-close and settle everything still outstanding.

Here is the timeline at a glance:

  • June 1, 2026, 8:00 AM (UTC): All Prediction Contract trading pairs are delisted. Auto-settlement begins for any open positions.

  • After June 1, 8:00 AM (UTC): On Web, the trading entry stays temporarily available and pages remain accessible. On App, homepage and market page entry points are removed, though manual closing is still possible through the Positions page.

  • June 2, 2026, 8:00 AM (UTC): All Prediction Contracts entry points on both Web and App close permanently. No further access to any related pages or features.

How Auto-Settlement Works for Open Positions

Any position left open after the delisting time is settled automatically by the system. The closing price is the average Mark Price across the final 30 minutes before delisting. A settlement fee applies, calculated using a straightforward formula: the Taker Fee plus the Maker Fee, divided by two. In short, the fee is the midpoint between the two standard rates. Closing manually before the deadline keeps you in control of your exit price rather than leaving it to a 30-minute average.

Closing Your Position Before the Deadline

Manual closing is the recommended path, and it stays available even after the App entry points are removed. On the App, head to the Positions page, find the relevant Prediction Contract trading pair, and tap "Trade" to open the trading page. From there you can complete the closing process as usual. On Web, the trading entry remains temporarily accessible after June 1, so you can close positions there directly until the final shutdown.

What Changes for Web and App Users

The wind-down happens in two phases. Immediately after the June 1 delisting, Web users retain temporary access to Prediction Contracts pages, while App users lose the homepage and market page entry points but keep the manual-close route through Positions. The permanent closure lands on June 2, 2026, at 8:00 AM (UTC), when every Prediction Contracts entry point on both Web and App is officially closed. After that point, the pages and features are no longer reachable.

We encourage all affected traders to review their open positions now and close anything they wish to exit on their own terms ahead of the June 1 cutoff.
