Switch to a Non-Custodial Wallet
While, at first glance, a custodial wallet may appear a convenient choice, it must be noted that it comes with risks and limitations, particularly under stringent regulatory changes. Switching to a non-custodial wallet grants you greater control and security over your funds, and better aligns with the core principles of blockchain technology, emphasizing decentralization, transparency, and user empowerment.
As mentioned above, Bybit Web3 Wallet offers users a choice between custodial and non-custodial wallets. On ApeX, many Bybit Web3 Wallet users currently utilize a custodial option, also known as Cloud Wallet. In order to make a switch simply, migrate from Cloud Wallet to a self-custodial option within Bybit Web3 Wallet, or alternatively, set up a new non-custodial crypto wallet. ApeX supports 10 custodial wallets, including options from popular choices such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coin98, etc. Choose one of the wallets that better aligns with your needs and make a switch.

Sign Up for a Non-Custodial Wallet: First, set up and migrate to a non-custodial wallet.
Connect Your Non-Custodial Wallet to ApeX: Once you've registered for a new non-custodial wallet, connect it to ApeX.
Fill in Google Form: Finally, fill in this Google Form to inform us that you've made the switch. The form will ask you to fill in Bybit Web3 Wallet Address, Bybit UID, and New Wallet Address, allowing us to verify the change.
The reward collection phase will span four weeks, from April 15, 2024, 10 AM UTC to May 13, 2024, 10 AM UTC. During this period, we'll be distributing rewards on a weekly basis. For more details, please refer to the timeline below.

Terms and Conditions
This campaign is exclusively open to users of the Bybit Web3 Wallet who currently utilize its custodial solution. Participants are encouraged to transition to either the same wallet's self-custodial solution or another self-custodial wallet of their choice to be eligible for the campaign rewards.
The campaign is open from April 15, 2024, 10 AM UTC to May 13, 2024, 10 AM UTC.
The campaign prize pool comprises 10,000 USDC. Participants will receive a 10 USDC bonus on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and eligibility criteria.
Only users who successfully complete and submit the required Google Form, within the campaign activity period, will qualify for rewards. If users do not correctly fill in the form or fail to submit it within the duration of the campaign period, they will not be eligible to receive a share of the prize pool.
Data for the campaign will be collected and tabulated at specific intervals during the campaign period. The designated data collection times are as follows: April 22, 2024, 10 AM UTC; April 29, 2024, 10 AM UTC; May 6, 2024, 10 AM UTC; and May 13, 2024, 10 AM UTC. Participants must ensure their activities are up to date and in compliance with the campaign rules at these times to be eligible for rewards.
This is a whitelist-based campaign. Participation is limited to users who meet the eligibility criteria and have registered their participation via the Google Form. Rewards will be distributed weekly, based on activities and participation from the previous week, throughout the campaign period.
When creating a new wallet, please ensure the secure storage of your private key, mnemonic phrase, and account password. Loss of these credentials can result in irretrievable loss of access to your assets.
In the event of a delay due to technical issues, rewards will be redistributed within 30 days following the event's conclusion.
The ApeX team reserves the right to modify existing terms and conditions at its discretion, without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.
