ApeX Pro | Q1 2023 Roundup

Time flies when you're making the best trades every season — and the first quarter of 2023 certainly did not disappoint both our long-time supporters and also newly-joined ApeXers. Those who've been on this journey with us since our order book model revamp in the latter half of 2022 would have experienced plenty of highs with us, as we steadily reached and crossed multiple extraordinary milestones.

As we sprinted past the first of four 2023 roadmap pitstops, it's critical that we look back on and review our achievements for the past three months — and make a splash this upcoming summer season with bigger Web3 products you'll need.

First things first, a brief recap of all the items we checked off our list from January to March 2023:

Platform & Programs

BBP Upgrade to fairly allocate funds and resources into the Staking Program
Affiliate Program moved into Phase II where affiliates could start earning a mix of USDC cashback, $APEX and $esAPEX for being our biggest supporters. We moved into Phase III in early April, more details on that here.
Revenue sharing with the Staking Program was unveiled, allowing ApeXers to stake their $APEX and $esAPEX for greater rewards earned on their idle funds from up to 30% trading fee rebates platform wide, while introducing a never-before-seen trading component into calculations for staking rewards — all to take into account their overall ecosystem participation. We recently made some changes to the Staking Program here.
Brand new Referral Program was introduced, and we continue to rely on ApeX Pro's community members to spread the ApeX Pro experience far and wide, rewarding referrers with 5% lifetime cashback and referees with 3% trading fee discounts.
14 new perpetual contracts with collateral assets changed to USD, as ApeX Pro is on a mission to provide fair and dynamic trading options to ApeXers, while ensuring that they are protected from extreme market volatility
New updates to $APEX tokenomics and Trade-to-Earn, to maintain the stable value accrual of the $APEX token, while making ApeX Pro the first derivatives decentralized exchange of choice for all web3 traders

Campaigns

As summarized in the image above, ApeX Pro kept things busy and interesting for ApeXers with multiple exciting campaigns and rewards. We also launched our very first mega trading competition, the MVP Traders League, and continue to work with ecosystem partners, especially centralized exchange (CEX) Bybit, to widen easy access to the world of web3.
