Leverage
Leverage multiplies a trader’s notional exposure relative to the margin (collateral) posted. For example, 10× leverage on a $1,000 margin can control roughly $10,000 of notional position size, subject to exchange risk limits.
Higher leverage increases both potential return and liquidation risk. Exchanges typically publish a maximum leverage per market and may apply tiered margin requirements as position size grows.
On ApeX Omni, each perpetual market advertises a max leverage. Always size positions for adverse moves and funding costs, not only for the advertised maximum.
