Support and resistance are the most useful idea in chart reading, and one of the few backed by real research. A level is a price where the balance of buyers and sellers has flipped before and is likely to flip again: support is the floor where falling prices catch, resistance is the ceiling where rallies stall. This guide walks through a live level, showing how a broken ceiling becomes the next floor through role reversal, driven by trapped traders and real order clustering at round numbers. You will learn where levels actually sit, why you draw zones rather than hairlines, and how candlestick signals gain meaning when they form at a level. It also covers the false breakout trap and the volume tell that separates a genuine break from bait. The evidence holds up: Federal Reserve research found published levels predict intraday turns, while Fibonacci retracements test no better than random.

Support and Resistance: How to Read the Levels Where Price Turns

This week brings a set of meaningful changes to ApeX Omni. The product formerly known as RWA Perp is now TradFi, and the rename runs across the entire platform: every instance of "RWA" has been updated to "TradFi" for a cleaner, more intuitive experience. Event is now live, a simple product where you predict whether a market like BTC, ETH, or Gold moves Up or Down over a short fixed window, with no leverage, no liquidation, and no fees. We have also delisted the IP-USDT pair in response to ongoing volatility and thin liquidity, a move made to protect traders and keep execution quality high. Finally, the mobile app has been updated to version 3.58.0, and a dedicated status page is now available so you can monitor platform health in real time. Here is everything you need to know.

ApeX Omni Weekly Update: TradFi Rebrand, Event Trading, and More...

The 48-team World Cup added a brand new round, and the Round of 32 kicks off June 28, running through to the final at MetLife on July 19 (Sky Sports). This is where the safety net disappears. One bad night and a contender goes home. The group stage already handed us a 7-1 thrashing, a host nation peaking, and at least one giant looking very beatable. Below are the six ties carrying the most heat as the bracket locks in, who the market favors in each, and where the value really sits. We also call our pick for who lifts the trophy. Read to the end for the World Cup Survival campaign, where calling these results right actually pays.

World Cup 2026 Round of 32: The 6 Matches Everyone Is Watching (And Who Actually Wins)

One candle is close to a coin flip. Put two or three in a row and you get a small story, a setup and a reaction, that is harder to fake. When Thomas Bulkowski ranked all 103 candlestick types by tested performance, the top of the list is dominated by two- and three-candle patterns. But reputation and reliability are not the same thing. Bearish engulfing reverses 79% of the time yet ranks near the bottom because the move fades fast. The harami and tweezers, taught everywhere, are near coin flips that often point the wrong way. Meanwhile the less-hyped three-candle stars and crows quietly do the work: the evening star reverses 72%, three black crows 78%. Even the number-one pattern, the three line strike, rests on just 85 occurrences and comes with the analyst's own warning. The honest takeaway: a good pattern tilts the odds, it never promises the outcome. It only earns its keep with a prior trend, the right location, and confirmation.

Candlestick Patterns: How Two and Three Candles Tell a Bigger Story

A single candlestick is a four-number story: open, high, low, and close. Its shape tells you who won the period, buyers or sellers. The body measures conviction, the distance from open to close, and not trading volume. The shadows map rejection: a long upper wick means higher prices were pushed back, a long lower wick means lower prices were bought back up. Named shapes like the doji, spinning top, marubozu, hammer, hanging man, shooting star, and inverted hammer are useful shorthand, but identical shapes can flip meaning depending on the trend around them. The hard truth, confirmed by Thomas Bulkowski's testing across decades of data, is that most single candles perform near a coin flip, around 60% or worse. One candle is a hint, not a signal. It only becomes usable information when you add three layers of context: prior trend, location at support or resistance, and confirmation from the sessions that follow.

How to Read a Candlestick: What a Single Bar Is Actually Telling You

Almost everyone reads candlestick charts. Almost no one knows where they came from. This piece traces the real history. The West built its own tools first: the 1867 stock ticker, tape reading, Dow Theory, and the OHLC bar chart. Japan took a different path at Osaka's Dojima Rice Exchange, formally authorized in 1730, where a margined rice futures market became the candle's true birthplace. Legend credits trader Munehisa Homma with inventing the chart in the 1700s. He was real and brilliant, but the record does not back the claim. Analyst Steve Nison, who brought candlesticks west in 1989, argues the chart more likely emerged in the late 1800s, decades after Homma died. The candle's edge is its colored body, showing at a glance whether buyers or sellers won. The article also covers three variants: Heikin-Ashi, Renko, and Kagi. The bigger lesson is a skill: telling documented fact from trading folklore.

This week ApeX Omni ships two new ways to trade events. ApeX Prediction launches with the 2026 World Cup campaign: trade match outcomes the way you would on Polymarket, earn Prediction Points, and survive an elimination race to split a 1,000,000 point pool after the final. Event Contract Trading also goes live on web and mobile app. Predict Up or Down over a short window, from 3 minutes to 1 hour, with no leverage and a fixed payout. The total assets area now shows a dedicated prediction account so you can track these positions in one place. On listings, TON has been delisted as part of its move to GRAM. The older Prediction Perp product has been fully closed. App version 3.57.0 brings Event Contract Trading and the prediction account to mobile. Here is everything that shipped.

ApeX Omni Weekly Update: World Cup Prediction Survival and More...

World Cup 2026 prediction markets have grown into a multi-billion-dollar arena. Each outcome trades as a binary contract priced between $0 and $1, where the price equals its implied probability and a winning contract settles at $1. Kalshi alone processed over $344 million on World Cup contracts by June 17, 2026. This guide covers how these markets work, how they differ from sportsbooks, and why a continuous exchange lets you exit before an event resolves. It then walks through trading the World Cup on ApeX Omni, which combines prediction markets with perpetuals, spot, and tokenized stocks. Positions are fully spot-based, so there is no leverage and no liquidation risk. You buy YES or NO, with pricing sourced from Polymarket order books. It also covers ApeX's dedicated World Cup Prediction Campaign, a points-based format running June 16 to July 31, 2026, that lets you play all 104 matches for a share of a 1,000,000-point prize pool with no cash at risk.

World Cup 2026 Prediction Markets: How They Work and How to Trade Them

ApeX Prediction is launching alongside the biggest sporting event on the planet. Through the 2026 World Cup, you can trade event outcomes on ApeX the way you would on Polymarket, then turn correct calls into Prediction Points. Points build through registration, trading, referrals, and winning streaks. They also decide who survives a knockout-style elimination that begins at the semifinals. Make the right calls, stay in the upper tiers, and you join the group of survivors splitting a 1,000,000 point pool after the final. This guide walks through how prediction pricing works, how to earn and spend points, how the elimination and streak systems run, and the full terms.
